Success Formula Secrets Part One

Ok, in my last post, I mentioned that that there's actually a formula for success. If you're wondering if it's possible, it really is. But like all other knowledge, it's not just about knowing, more importantly, it's about applying!

The formula for success is actually quite simple. In fact, after I reveal this magical formula, some of you will probably sit back in disbelief and say ...

'You mean this is the formula? I already know almost all of this!'

Yup ... A lot of what I'll be sharing are knowledge you may already be aware of. But it's not just about each individual piece of knowledge. It's about how you utilize the whole formula in it's entirety and how you apply it to whatever you are doing. Many people have achieved a higher level of success in their lives because they applied this formula to what they were doing

Like what I mentioned, this formula can be applied regardless of the industry you are in or the business you want to excel in.

Take the formula, apply it and massively prosper!

So what is this Formula to Success? Simple ...

Results <-- Action <-- Practice <-- Plan <-- Strategy <-- Goal <-- Mindset

In whatever you do in life, in whatever businesses you undertake or plan to build, you MUST always ask yourself this all important question:

'What are the results I want from this business, venture or decision?'

Very often, most people go into a business without knowing the results they want. Most people attend a seminar without knowing the result they desire to derive from the seminar. Most people read books without knowing the end-result they want from reading it.

This is a big mistake!

When you don't set the results you want to achieve from whatever you're doing, you naturally don't achieve them!

Always ask yourself what results you want to see from whatever you're doing! This way, you can clearly know whether of not your time was spent productively. You can also clearly determine whether the money you invested in the seminar or business was justified. If your results were achieved, your time was productive and the money invested was justified.

Simple right? But this simple concept alone has helped many successful people make their time more productive and thus generate more money for themselves.

Results in your life can be broadly classified into 3 categories:

  • Stability -- How much income do you need in order to achieve stability in your life? You will need to evaluate your monthly expenses and outflow in order to arrive at this figure.
  • Success -- This is subjective. How much do you need in order to believe that you are successful? For some, it could be earning $10,ooo per month. For others, it could be owning 5 properties around the world. Define your success and make a conscious effort to work towards it.
  • Dream -- This is my personal favourite. As Walt Disney once said: "If you can dream it, you can do it" My dear friends, everything in life begins with a dream. Everything. All great people started with a dream they had and they went forward to make it happen.
What is your dream? Have you thought about what your dream life would be like 5 years from now? 10 years from now? 20 years from now? 30 years from now? Picture this life clearly, vividly in your life. Write an essay entitled 'A perfect day in my life' and display this essay somewhere prominently where you can see it everyday. When you can picture it clearly, you mind will go to work to help you make that dream come true.
Dare to believe your dream can come true
Reach for the stars
Enthusiasm is paramount
Act as if failure were impossible
Make your own destiny

So define the results you want in your life and make it happen!

I'll be updating this Blog on a regular basis so do stay tuned for the next installment!

Carpe Diem ... Seize the day!
