Success Formula Secrets Part Three

Welcome back to the third installment of Success Formula Secrets. I sincerely hope you have benefitted from my previous posts and the knowledge is already making a profound and significant impact in your life.

Remember, it's not just the learning of knowledge that's important. The application of knowledge is even more important! So I urge you to go out, use the valuable knowledge I've distilled from the hours spent with my mentors and massively propser!

In the last installment, I talked about the importance of taking action in order to get the results you want. But before you take action, you need to do one important step. Failure to do this step alone could cost you millions!

So what is this all-important step?

Are you ready for it?

It's ...

Practice

'What? You mean failure to practice could cost me millions of dollars? You sure?'

Yes my friends. Failure to practice before taking action could cost you millions of dollars, if not billions! How is this possible?

You see, before you take action on anything, you must make sure you are adequately proficient in what you're embarking on. What do I mean?

Take for example, if you are in the field of sales or financial planning. Before you meet with your client, you need to be sure you can present proficiently to him. The last thing you want to happen to you is to foul-up on that all-important presentation. It takes just one blunder to foul-up your impression to your client. Yes ... The business world is THAT unforgiving at times.

So how do you practice? Practice to the person you see in the mirror. If you're doing great, he should give you an agreeable look. If the person in the mirror is frowning, you know you need to improve certain aspects of your presentation. The person in the mirror NEVER lies! You can also grab your family memebers or friends to listen to your presentation. Whichever method you choose, the key is to practice, practice and practice!

If you're embarking on the up and coming field of Internet Marketing, all the top dogs in the industry will tell you that you need to test your maketing campaigns. Don't just put up a sales copy and expect your site to sell like hot-cakes. You need to test your headlines, sales-copy, testimonials, images etc. Failing to test could be the downfall of your online empire! Sometimes, just a small change could improve your sales by huge margins! If you don't test, you'll never know what went wrong or what could have been done better.

Professional athletes and sportspeople will swear by the importance of practice and training. Have you heard of a professional sportsperson who won an olympic gold medal or a professional sporting event without any practice? I haven't, and I don't think there are any. Even the most talented of sportspeople need constant practice to hone their skills.

So, practice is important. But do you just practice blindly? That is, does practice make perfect? It used to be the case, but not anymore. Practice used to make perfect, but now, practice makes permanent.

As Vince Lombardi put it so aptly ...

'Practice does not make perfect; perfect practice makes perfect'

Make sure you are practicing the right things! If you practice the wrong way, no amount of practice will make you successful! So how do you know if you are practicing the right things? Simple ... Model after those who already have the results you desire to have.

So now that you know the importance of practice, what one action would you do by the end of today in order to bring you closer to your success?

Write it down and act upon it now!

Carpe Diem ... Seize the Day!
